West Texas Press Association will have its annual convention in Odessa at MCM Grande Dome on old Highway 80 July 15-17. Golf tournament will be at Odessa Country Club or Ratliff Ranch on July 15 with board meeting afternoon of July 15. That night will be a banquet with several featured events including recognition of one of our members who helped keep the association going in the early days. Friday will be full of helpful sessions including sales and internet, good luncheon Friday with Ray Stafford speaking on the future of the news media. Friday night will be a big banquet with presentation of the several awards and then the group will go to Summer Mummers.

On Saturday morning is the  usual business meeting followed by the awards brunch and presentations.

More programs are being developed.
